No Spark

Hey guys, new member and wondering if anyone could help me out. I bought a 94 Tracker Deep V with a 40hp Oil Injected Mercury. I'm not getting any spark, compression is good, turns over just fine. Guy I bought it from changed the ignition and said he thought the problem was a CDI box? Any thoughts/suggestions appreciated.

I had a similar issue with no spark awhile back. While I am new here and new to boats, i found a thread that solved my issues and I hope it solves yours. It has several steps to take to diagnose your switchbox, stator, and other things. Hope it helps
