Force 90 engine block

Newbie here. This is my first boat. I recently boat a 92 Bayliner that needs a new engine block. I see one for sale but I’m not sure if it’s correct. My block is stamped 818153C1, the one for sale is 818153A23. Should I just look at the 818153 or does the letter after make a difference?
Thanks in advance for any help.

What year is the new block?
There's a foundry stamp under the bottom carb and at the top of the block under where the coil/packs mount.
It's a circle and the numbers in the center are the year.

The ad I see just has the 818153A23 number. I realize it just a short block. That’s all I need, mine has a bad cylinder wall. Not the steel liner but the aluminum wall that supports the liner. I’m figuring the rest of the engine is ok so what i need is a good short block. I guess my main question is do I look for the same year or the 818 number? Thanks for any info.

I dont want to get you all confused as to what you have but 818 points to 70hp short block and 817901 and 817608 points to 1990/1 90hp. 70hp from 1991 and up is the same bore size as the 90hp 1990 B models up to 1995 . its easy to swop the cowlings around thinking you buying a 90 these things do happen be villi gent .
