No Spark Force 125

My force 125 had no spark and jerry recommenced that it my be the rectifier. Removed the Rectifier and it fired right up. Didn’t mess with boat until new Rectifier came, when I put it on it would not start so I removed it again and still have no spark. Could my stator have just been hanging on and finally gone out or anything else.

With the help of some of the other posts I replaced the stator and now have spark. But engine still won’t start. Fuel is getting at least to the carbs. Are they’re any safety switches are other things that could cause this ?
 
If you've got spark and fuel??
Then no start??
Check the flywheel key.
It could have slipped.

That OK??? then try a shot of starting fluid.
Maybe new plugs?

The more unsuccessful you are at trying to start a motor, the more the oil builds
upon the cylinders and the harder it is to fire through the buildup.
