hello everone,

i am kinda new to the forum so let me first introducé myself. my name is Roy Kunst and i am from the Netherlands. quit new to the boating scene.
my dad just bought a '85 nivara ghostrider. it has some work but overal a nice one for summer cruising.

the problem

When the engine is cold it runs oke but after a few minuts it dies. It seem its getting to much fuel or something. is there a common issue that these boats have or do have any clue where to start looking.

thanx

Roy

The AQ 175A is carbureted and incorporates an electric heating element that eventually allows the helix to open the choke chimney.
Make sure that the choke plate begins to open as the engine warms up.
If not, check to see if the circuit for the heating element is working.
