454 mercruiser water pump

Where do i connect the lower hose off waterpump. I connected all the other hoses where i think they should go but this last one has nowhere to go. Maybe i need a t .
 
I will ask you a question If you can answer it then you are good. I wont tell you the year, or serial number of the engine, carbed or efi, so lets see just how good you are.

I need spark plugs for a 454 mercruiser?
