I store my 1979 Skipjack 24 flybridge on its trailer in my home's side yard. I put two new batteries in it last season and used it twice. It has been sitting un started for six months (my very bad). I left the battery switch on (my very bad again) and trird to start start it and of course the batteries were not charged enough (11V on the dashboard volt meter) to get it to turn over. So I charged the batteries after making sure plates inside the battery were adequately covered with battery acid. I have two sets of volt meters. One is in the cabin that shows each battery individually (14 V on both batteries). Jump starting doesn't work and the throttle is in neutral.
