Greetings Guys,
So I just inherited an old DT4 which was running about a year ago and then stored. I'm told it was diagnosed with a dead coil and an OEM replacement has been installed but not wired in, or perhaps even wired incorrectly by the person that donated it to me - who knows even less about outboards than I do....
There is a single blue wire coming out of the coil, and a white and red wire going back up under under the flywheel. In addition there is a blue connector with an empty slot for a male pin (see my labelled image).
I had a good dig around for a wiring diagram and couldn't seem to find one. Can anyone tell me where the blue coil wire and the red and white wire should be routed and connected.
