Injector issues

1990 200 hp XRI. For no apparent reason, the injectors all but one cut out. I can start it cold and get no more than 1100 rpm. I run it like that for maybe 15 minutes, stop and wait 15-20 minutes. Restart, maybe 2 or 3 more times and pow! It runs like a scalded dog! What gives? HELP!!
 
Thanks for the input! Pardon my ignorance, but switchbox? What is that and can it be tested first? I hate shooting in the dark, if you know what I mean.
