Hello I'm glad to know there's a forum that can help . I have a Mercury Marine 4.5 hp that's has a few issues, 1st it wont start because it sat for years when I bought it. I tried starting it no luck, so I cleaned the spark plug and cleaned the carb the best I can with can carb cleaner. I wish I had a tank to sit the carb in. I got it running but when I rev it up it bogs off. Help
2nd I took off the foot, now it wont go into reverse . More help.
I know I'm going to need to buy carb kit and a impeller. Is it we use to put new jets and gaskets when the carb itself has some brown gas residue in it ? Thanks for your help in advance. I'm new here and dont know how to post a pic of it.
