I have a 2014 honda bf90 and im looking for the run out of the prop shaft tolerance. I read that mercury is .007 max. Just wondering is honda follows the same.
i am getting a bad vibration throughout the boat between 2400-3000 RPM in gear. anywhere else in the RPM range is quiet and no vibrations. I noticed i had a slight bend in my prop but don’t remember hitting anything. I got the prop repaired and re balanced but the vibration is still there. I used a dial indicator and my run out is .005. The only thing is that I didn’t notice any vibration before, i just so happened to see the props damage one day. The only other thing i did when i got the prop repaired was i lifted the engine up one hole, but do you think that will cause vibrations?
