I need to drop lower unit to replace water pump on my outboard. However I cannot see where to disconnect the linkage. Or will the shaft just separate from the lower unit like the drive shaft when I pull it off.
 
Boats.net is my go to for OEM parts. Many other online OEM distributors, just google search water pump kit with your model/year.
