Troubleshoot 2017 BF250

Hello,


My BF250 ran fine yesterday but will not start today. When turning the key to start, I only get One beep (instead of two beeps) and no cranking.
The four-light key switch has a solid red light for the alternator. There is No buzzer and the other 3 lights are Not lit.


I pulled the codes using Dr.H but did not get any fault codes. I'm reading the Honda Shop Manual now. I got 12.6 volts at the Starting Battery and the Engine Tilt/Trim functions normally. There are about 300 hours on the motor.


My next step is to check fuses. Any other suggestions would be appreciated.

Kill switch is off

Also check it's properly in neutral by shifting slightly either side od neutral

phew! I had that one year when first launching the boat...so excited to finally get in the water, forgot to put the kill switch in!
