When I am idling around the river everything is fine, but when I start to move the throttle forward it creeps up to about 90 degree throttle position then instantly jumps from 2000 rpm's to 6000 rpm's and the boat stops moving forward and the engine runs rough at high rpm's.
The boat sat for two years but had not problems in 2018. Any thoughts?
