A noobs questiion on motor cooling system

Hello from sunny Florida.
I recently picked up a 1986 Cruiser Yachts Avante Vee 32'. Dual inboard 350s made by Crusader with Osco riser/elbow. Actually quite a funny story that I may have to tell you guys about one day.
Anyways, I am very familiar with working on car/motorcycle motors, and somewhat competent with outboard motors. This is my first boat with inboard motors and I just want to be sure that what I THINK is going on here is accurate. It looks as if these motors are using BOTH saltwater and antifreeze/fresh water in two totally separate systems to cool the motor. Is that accurate??

Yes some boats have what is called " closed cooling " systems.

and on the V-8s, Crusader typically used the 'full' configuration vs the 'half' - the full keeps the exhaust manifolds in the 'closed' side. In either case the elbows are cooled with the raw water and typically get 3-5 years of service before they are due for replacement....
