Honda bf225 transom saver

Hey, I’m new to the page and I had recently bought a tritoon with a 225 on it and was wondering if anyone is using transom savers, If so what kind. The place I bought it from told me I should raise it up then lower in down and stop as soon as it hits the trim pistons. Thanks

I've used the bracket style before i prefer and am currently using a my wedge. Easy off and on and won't. Mar your lower unit
