Yamaha 30hp Autolube 1995 blue smoke

Hi

I get blue smoke (like fog around the boat) when I start my Yamaha even when I run I can see a shade of blue smoke.
Is the OIL INJECTION PUMP problem or something else?

I have also another problem when I have start the Yamaha and idling. It stops often with "chip" sound.
Could it be the oil seal in the bottom of the crankcase?

Your first outboard motor ?-----Blue smoke is normal on a 2 stroke motor.----It has to show some smoke !----Amount of visible smoke can be reduced with certain oils.----If you just got this motor you must install a new water pump impeller.----Did you check oil in the lower unit ?----I do not believe the " chip " sound has anything to do with an oil seal !
 
No, have follow Yamaha:s in my enginepark 5, 15, 20 and 30hp (30hp Autolube) twostroke and 70hp (forstroke)
The smaler hp engine not nearby in smoke when I start
The smoke problem start one or two years ago.


The neighbor asked if there was a fire in the boat when I start the Yamaha.

Is it possible that the oil pump can deliver too much oil?
The oil pump is mechanical and driven by the crankshaft, can sealing oil pump be broken so that compression from the crankcase?
