Suzuki DT 15 running prob

Hi to all, I have a DT 15 twostroke, it runs well for +- an hour, maybe little less and then dies. Cannot start untill cold after that.
Would it be a slow overheat problem - can I take the thermostat out and see if it still does that?

I would first install a new impeller.----Does it die instantly or slow down gradually ?----Perhaps test run with another tank and hose as well.---Any other trouble shooting done ?

Hi Racerone, thanks for the reply.
It dies instantly after 45min-1hour.
I will check the impellar again but it did work fine as water spout works and dual exauhst holes also gushes water
out.
Tank and hose i have used on another outboard and works fine.
I have the two outboards slung on a drop-down pod for my Wharram Cat

Hi Racerone, i evetually got out for a trip again but this time no problems.
The outlet water is normal and run normal for the whole trip, there and back (all +- 8hrs)
Still dont know what was wrong on the previous trips.
