BF225 Shifting issue

When I shift from forward to neutral the engine makes a rapid clicking/chattering noise while it is neutral. If I shut off the engine and restart there is no clicking/chatter. Do I need to make an adjustment to the shift arm or the detent spring? Thanks for the help!
 
I am going to respond to my own post in case some has the same issue.

The problem was that the key was sticking in the start position so that when you shifted back into neutral the starter would engage. It was the stater making the awful noise.

Sprayed some WD-40 in the key hole and worked it back and forth real good and problem has been resolved.

I hope this helps someone else.
