Force 50HP; water spraying from lower unit weep hole

So, i only owned this boat for a few months, owned a boat previously but this is my first outboard engine boat.

i noticed milky gear oil, determined it had a lower unit seal leak. I changed the seal and water impeller. Put everything back together and appeared everything worked fine.

i turned it on today to get it ready for use and noticed it was spraying water out the lower weep hole. Its the First time i noticed this.

water was flowing through regular water/exhaust outlet but also spraying through the weep hole...??? Im not too familiar with outboards?? Is This a problem? Any help is appreciated.

I'd take the lower off and make sure the copper tube to the motor is still in place.
Some water can come from the seal at the top of the pump.
But a lot of water should only come from the snout.

The hose muffs your using are the wrong ones.
You might overheat when using these.
The pics show the right ones.
