Hi . New to this site.

im trying to find out the year of my motor.
also advice regarding the stator plate for my engine!
all I know is it’s an old engine.
I have the serial number but it may be missing a letter or a number at the beginning due to corrosion.

I have been told that my motor with electric start and pull start should have a Red stator .
mine has a black stator
any advice would be very much Appreciated
 
an " old motor " does not mean very much.-----Any pictures of it ?----And what is the serial # as best you can tell ?
 
It is two cylinder and yes blue graphics on cover.
would post a pic but can’t seem to work out How to post one ! ����*��
