I have a 1984 Penta MD30A. I was going to replace the zinc anode but the oil cooler has been replaced with a different style. I cannot tell what brand/model the new cooler is and do not know if it has an anode. My questions are, is there another anode somewhere on the engine? If not, is it worth trying to find a replacement (discontinued) cooler? Is there another option for adding an anode?
