1993 Johnson 120

I was told this motor was a 1993 Johnson. I cannot identify the model number based on the power head. It does not seem to correspond to any Johnson models. Can anyone help me identify this model? It is on an aftermarket bracket, so the power head is the only place I can find any identifying mark.

OK. will do tonight. I thought that is where the model number was found, and did not realize I was looking at the serial number. Thank you!

Appears to be a " Seadrive " machine.-------The cowling graphics indicate a 92 / 93 model year.-----Any more pictures of the bracket ?

I’ll snag some more pictures of the bracket. It is aftermarket from what I’m told. I am trying to properly identify the model number of the motor so I can get the correct seal kit for the shaft/gear case.

Well----I see a swivel bracket off a SEADRIVE machine.-------Last year for that big looper V-4 on a SEADRIVE was 1990 I believe.-----When a motor is 30 years old there simply is no telling what has been done !!

Also need to establish if this is an EXTRA long motor or not.------Looks to be 25"-----And if this is a V-6 lower unit.------Is the prop nut a fine thread.------One other trick is to remove gear case seals.----Part #s are usually on the seals.------With that information you could search for the correct seal kit !!
