Mon-Ark flat bottom 12' . USCG plate u can not read. It does have gusset from transom to beam in the center under motor mounts at transom .what do y'all think 15 ,4 stroke , to heavy??? Or 10 , 2 stroke ???
Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks

obviously leave out the spaces & you know what “dot” & “at” means.
I’ll post them. I bought a 14’ Jon boat for running around the creeks & rivers at my place, much easier than cranking the big one off the boat lift.
i put an 8hp Evinrude on, & it’s fine with 2 adults & fishing gear. With 3 180lbers it would just barely get on the step.
A 9.9 two stroke would be great. I wanted to use this boat in a few fishing spots where we will have to portage maybe 25 yards, the 8hp is 20lbs lighter. The max this boat was rated for was 15hp. IIRC the 12’ jonboats were only rated for 8 or 9 HP.
