Replacing bearing carrier on new lower unit

I got a new lower unit from marine engine .com the ESI brand (after market). I'm replacing the prop shaft seals and prop shaft o rings. They are differnt bearing carrer from the oringal evinrude lower unit. Will the seals & o ring be the same from the origanal to the after market? With the original seals and o ring I cant get it set in all the way the bolts wont even start. This is a 2006 225hp etec.

we put a lot of hours on them so i repalce the prop seals and water pump myself no matter what at the end of the season nothing was wrong with it
