installing new water pump kit today when i pulled the lower unit I notice the shaft had a few scores in it where it rests in the journal (I think thats what you call it) a few inches above the pump. See photo. Is this very unusual. the depth is not that deep, but you can feel them when you run your fingernail over it. Should I just grease it up and go again? Thanks!
