Lowrance X85

I have a lowrance X85 mounted internally on a Minkota Maxxum. Can anyone direct me to the right fórum for advise on repair.

Interesting, I have an x85 and it broke....screen "mazed" out on me. Next year the neighbor suddenly died.....heart attack after shoveling snow.....complete surprise. Went to his wife's sale, there is an x85 on the table. Guy in front of me grabs it, then drops on the cement floor. Looks around then casually puts it back....stupid. Nobody else wanted it, Sue gave it to me. Guess what.....it works perfectly.
I don't think any sub forum here covers fish finders.
PS. Same guy picks up a beat up 044 Stihl I ran over and snatched it from him......."hey pal, these things can kill you". I got it for 40 bucks....sweet saw, love it.

Thank you, The problem is that the transducer is integrated in the trolling motor and I get bad reception.

If there is any way to get on to the transducer wire, you could fashion a ferrite choke/toroid. I have seen instructions on-line how to make them. Just an idea. They work well on data transfer cables when used around other interference.
