1978 johnson 9.9 No spark

Picked up this 9.9 for 125 dollars. Has good compression. I already checked all wires for continuity and made the kill button wasnt the problem. I have been trying to test the brown pickup coil under flywheel and the green and black one aswell. I'm not sure whether to check for ohms ac or dc on them.
 
4 out of 5 on these is gonna be power pack. If you feel you can diagnose it yourself go to the CDI electronics troubleshooting guide available on line for free. All you need is a decent multimeter usually 25 bucks. DVA capability is optional. You should be able to figure it out without using DVA readings.
 
I lost all spark on my 20hp due to bad ground from CDI wire to block..Cleaned connector and spark returned..Maybe a possibility?
