Start Priming Preference - Chocke PLates versus Solenoid

I suspect my J35TEL3EEM 35Hp 3-cyl 2-stroke Johnson was originally a tiller steer model converted to remote control by the Dealer. It has the manual choke knob at the cowling rather than the 12V primary solenoid operating by pushing the key in during the starting operation.

I've recently purchased a few pieces from another outboard including the priming solenoid and "choke plate-less" carbs.

What do people recommend - fitting the 12V solenoid or staying with the choke knob?

My only reason for change would be ease of starting process. It is a bit odd, but not unachievable, to go to the engine to pull the knob then back to the console to start the engine to then go back to the engine to push the knob in to go back to the console to drive the boat.

Good advice appreciated.

The electric primer valve is by far the best way to start that motor.-----Easy to fit that item on any motor for near instant starts.
