So I replaced my Alpha 1 gen II water pump impeller for the first time which was pretty easy but when assembling the unit back together, I forgot to put the little plastic sleeve back on the water pipe. Crap! Is this a necessary part? Doesn't look like it really does anything except maybe help to align the water tube when installing.
