1999 25 Yamaha 2 stroke water recovery

Recently was given a mint one owner 1999 Yamaha 2 stroke water recovery from Lake Superior. Has moderate rust in cylinders as it sat for about a year before I got my hands on it. Does anyone here have experience with aggressive penetrating oils to break this thing apart? I have heard a lot of good things about ATF mixed with acetone @ 50/50.
 
Yes it sat out on the shoreline, washed up, since October 2018. I just took off the head and it is not pretty. Hoping to save the block for another project Yamaha. When I get home I will try that formula I found on-line with acetone and ATF fluid. It's supposed to be better than Kroil. What do you think, Racer, I value your input?
