NS8B Driveshaft bearing removal

Have a 2-Stroke 8 HP Nissan that needs a new driveshaft bearing. Seal is leaking and bearing is a little rusty so I will replace both. How does the driveshaft bearing come off? Through the bottom of the shaft (also having to remove both driveshaft spacers) or remove out the top. Should I heat it first? Thanks

Answered my own question by measuring the diameter of the shaft above and below the bearing. Below the bearing is .005 less in diameter than above, so it has to come out through the bottom along with the 2 spacers. Mission accomplished using my sudo press .....................a 3/4 inch pipe + hammer :)

I usually pull the drive shaft out, and the bearing usually comes with it. Installing the new bearing in precisely the right spot on the drive shaft is the tricky part.
