2002 200hp tilt fluid/

I have a 2002 ,200hp.After removing the cap, the tilt fluid reservoir tank has a threaded nipple. Is there an attachment I need to add fluid?

That sounds strange to me. My 2007 BF 225 does not have a nipple. Are you sure you are looking at the T/T reservoir? See attached.

Roger that. Once the T/T is exercised after a couple of weeks, top it off again.

I have another question about my 2002 Honda 200 horsepower. I keep throwing an alarm, 8 blinks. Tells me it's the TDC sensor. From what I can see in my manual it comes as one unit with part of the throttle assembly. Any thoughts and recommendations?

Pull the TDC sensor 4P plug and measure resistance across the TD1 sensor terminals - the green and red wires. According to the manual, it should be 2000 +/- 500 ohms. If out of spec, replace it.

Then test each sensor terminal (green and red wires) and ground. If continuity, replace the sensor. Page 5-101 of the Helm Shop Manual walks you through the replacement. Looks like a real PITA.
