My 8hp yamaha tilt motor will go up, but only if I keep pushing the up button. Goes down smooth. Goes up about 1/4inch then stops (pump still running) and I am still holding up button. If I push UP button and motor will go up 1/4in then stop (pump still running). Let go of the UP button and press it again and the motor will go up 1/4in and stop (pump still running. DOWN button works perfect.
By passed the relay and UP does the same thing. 1/4in UP then stops.
