Replacing mounting bolt on Mercury V-140 (Saltwater)

Hi there, just thought I better check before I break something.

I am looking at replacing two mounting bolts before the heads rust away too much.

I had a bit of a go and felt that without some extra encouragement i might twist the head off the bolt.

Any suggestions on making this a safer exercise, should I just get my oxy and apply heat to help loosen it ?

Also looks like the spare from Mercury is a galvanised bolt rather than stainless, does this sound right ?

You will need to pull the powerhead as that bolt goes thru the motor mount and has nut on end of it. You can replace them with S/S.
