Mercury manual says , 6 beeps (mat, map or tps)
Now to get to mat u have to pull intake rite. Check sensor in heated water
and read ohms, as heat increases ohms decreases. Ok
Map sensor can be removed with out pulling intake, I can back it out with 8mm wrench just before it hits flywheel and spin clamping bracket and remove map sensor.
My problem is to ohm out map sensor as to merc. Original manual say. red lead on pin A, black lead on pin B. I should have 95-105K. Old map sensor has 4.65k , new sensor has 120.450k . I move black lead to pin C , then your reading should be 3.5-4.6K. I was getting 2.1K on old sensor. On new sensor I'm getting 2.6M. Sensor stopped the 6 beeps. My question is if book says that reading , why am I getting off the wall readings. If anyone has a clue please reply and thanks.
I have a fluke system. As far as multi meter from CDI
