This may be a stupid question but...........

How does one add fluid to the tilt/trim resevoir when the opening is horizontal?
 
What motor are you working on? Most Evinrude/Johnson fill procedures are motor tilted all the way up, then take out the screw on the tank and fill until fluid comes out. Then run up and down 5 times and repeat until full. No special adaptors needed.
