Mercruiser 3.0l Distributor cap screw size

Good Morning to all...

I recently removed the distributor cap from my 3.0l and broke one of the screws off in the distributor mounting plate. I drilled out broken screw and have a replacement cap with screws. However, before I can install the new cap, I need to know the screw size as well as the thread size. I to tap the plate....

Please let me know if anyone has this information.

Easiest way for you to find out is to take the cap to a hardware store and compare what's left.

Best guess: 4 mm.
