    Default Tamd41b temperature gauge not reading properly

    My gauge is off by like 15 degrees I have used 2 Different gun type Temp gauges
    I changed out the sending unit same problem

    which way is the gauge 'off'?

    15 Degrees on the high side and the gauge does move like when I power down temp comes down etc
    almost like it needs to be calibrated or maybe there’s a worn out spring inside the gauge

    Hummmm...that won't happen from a marginal wire to the sender....I don't believe there are any popular gauges that can be field calibrated...If you have another engine, you can usually swap gauges between them....only other thought is to verify the supply and return connections to the gauge are sound....many times, their installation is marginal and over time it degrades and induces problems
