    Default Fitting outboard position

I have a smartliner 21 caddy. Anyone knows what:

1- position I must attach the outboard in terms of height(Yamaha 80hp)
2- should I fit it exactly in the middle of the boat?

Below please find a video of how the bottom hull (p.s. found the video on youtube it is not my actual boat)

Yes, in the exact middle, only. Anti-cavitation plate should be even with the bottom-most point of the transom, unless you are using a motor extension. If so, raise the anti-cavitation plate 1 inch for every 1 foot of offset from the transom.
