Hi everyone
I have a 2007 yamaha 70hp 2 stroke and I took the boat out last week and she started fine than after about 5 minutes it just cut out and I had no power. I checked my battery and it was dead so I changed the battery to a charged battery and I still had no power to my guages or ignition. But my trim would still work on the motor and my lights and sounder and all that would still work.
Once the boat was home I fully charged both my batterys and now I'm getting power to my accessorys and trim on the motor but my guages get power after 20 30 seconds and than when I press the trim button on the throttle control I loose power again for another 20 to 30 seconds. I've never had any electrical issues with the boat and the only thing I done different this time was use the spair key and a new kill switch. It dose the same with the spair key and new kill switch as the original key and kill switch
I've checked all my wiring and fuses and they look fine
Any help would be much appreciated
