Outdrive antitheft nut

Hello to all,
I recently purchased a StarCraft islander inboard outboard. I want to drop the outdrive, but as luck would have it, it has a lock nut or should I say an anti-theft type nut similar to that on an automobile. I do not have the special tool to take this off. Any suggestions thank you.
 
Ayuh,..... Beat a tight fittin' socket onto it,......

Weld a nut on it,.....

Grind it off, 'n replace the stud,.....

As I look at this, the only real way is the cut off grinding wheel. It has a rotating barrel that keeps me from welding and this type does not have an actual nut head. I am pretty darn resourceful and I guarantee I will get it off, one way or another. Thanks for the reply.
