Hey guys, I picked up a 1982 mariner 40c el 639 for 140 bucks. After a tune up and some much needed tlc it’s runs great and everything works but the reverse lock system. I have replaced some pins that were rusted into and the stud and spacer for the transom mount. I do have the tilt pin in as well. My question is does anyone have pictures of the reverse lock system complete? I cannot for the life of me figure out how to get it to work. Where do the two springs go, along with the long hook in the middle. I have scoured the net for a month and all I can find is schematics but not a complete picture. Thanks in advance
