85 25hp Yamaha/Mariner flywheel swap

Found a new old stock 86-87 Yamaha engine. I plan to use in my 1980 mariner 25ml. Starting the swap swap over and notice the fly isn’t fitting right. Looks like the Yamaha crank is slightly larger in diameter.

Top photo is the new block. Second is the current mariner block.

Can someone confirm the correct flywheel I need to order is 689-85550-41-00?

The Mariner parts catalog shows a part number 7953M for the 1980 25ML flywheel. What Yamaha calls a rotor.

689-85550-41-00 is the Yamaha part number for an early Yamaha 25 model. 1984 thru 1987 model years it seems. But that part is no longer available from Yamaha.

I presume that your new old stock motor did not come with the flywheel installed?

Correct the powerhead I purchased did not come with the flywheel. Part is no longer available but there are a few on eBay.
