Brand new Yamaha 6hp outboard help please!

Hello everyone I recently bought a brand new 2018 Yamaha 6hp outboard and have a few questions.

when connecting the fuel line from the portable gas tank to the engine do I need to add a inline fuel filter into the fuel line? When I pop off the cowling I can see a fuel filter inside the motor but I am not sure if this is for the internal gas tank or the complete system.

When breaking in the new motor what is 2000 rpm is that half throttle?
 
No filter needed. Run the engine under half throttle for 1st hour varying speed. 2nd hour get on plane but keep under full throttle once on plane. 3rd hour full throttle for no more then 5 minutes. Keep it easy until 10hrs. The better you are with it the the longer it will last. Mix fuel 50-1.
