Here we go again... It's NOT a car engine! Just time it at WOT and go boating.

And how to you check the RPM on the engine.

That is great to know, Now what should the timing be at WOT. ???

I use about 21 degrees BTDC on mine thanks to lower gas quality. Remove the cam lever on the top carb so you can hold her wide open (about 3 grand).

Thanks for the post.

Just found the right timing marked on the flywheel, 23 degrees before top dead center.
