Today I picked up a Steelcraft Gray Marine 6 cylinder Engine Model 616 Serial No. D33216 with 2 Zenith Updraft Carburetor's.
Boats were made from 1945-1952.
Trying find year produced and engine information i.e. HP, Cubic Inches etc.
Thanks Caroga Lake 1

The WWII vintage is likely one of the flathead inline engine.....the knowledge base for that vintage is over the sister site: www.oldmaringeengine.com....

I have used "oldmarineengine" but it has been a few years and do not remember my username. When I try to create a new account it recognizes my email and says it belongs to another user. I click on the e-mail link to try and get help and nothing happens. Cannot send one so have no idea how to get my account reactivated.
I would appreciate any help you have
[email protected] in what it recognizes.
Thanks

I don't know if the crew here "shares" their duties at the sister site or not....I'd think a call to the 800#, at the top of this page, will get you a good POC and their email...

A lot of the Gray 'sixes' of the mid size were based on the Continental 226CID engine. Gray put one & two carbs on the same engine for different hp's.

Can you post a picture? here is easier than over on Oldmarineengine.
