Can't find my engine to get the right parts.

Hello everyone I am Greg alias Joe boater. I just bought a beautiful 1990 Sea Nymph bass boat for river fishing. I live on the James River and it and the new river are the two biggest musky producing water in Virginia. Very clean and very low hours on the 1996 motor. Now on the engine cover it says Johnson 50 SPL. When I look at the engine code list it doesn't have my model number. The model number is J50ESLEUS. No such number appears in the list of 50 HP motors. I am getting no spark to the small leads that run straight up to the stator or trigger. So I have pretty much go that isolated but how do I get the right part with not having the correct model number to order by. Looks like we have a dilemma. Can anyone guide me in the right direction. I am just now getting back into the water after a long time off the water and it took a divorce and a move from Georgia to get back to my passion the water. However, that's looking a little ways off if I can't get the correct parts.

What parts are you looking for ??----48 HP special or 50 HP for 97 all use the same parts.
