Can someone tell me what the spark plug gap should be for a 2000 Evinrude 225 Ficht? Shop manual says consult emissions sticker but the sticker is gone off of this engine. Currently has Champion QC12PEP plugs but I think I want to try some NGK's.
Not that I'm not going to index them but does anyone know what happens if the plugs aren't indexed? My guess is poor performance and fouled plugs but I worked with a guy that claimed he blew his motor up because he didn't index the plugs.
