Pair of 200 yams.2005
Both run fairly good at high speeds.
Stbd. motor uses 3X the oil the other does.
I looked at the linkage on both motors, the port is ok.
The stbd. has a cracked, loose connector, not broken but loose.

How to adjust or check the oil systems?

Haven't done a compression test yet.

The port motor trolling speeds: it starts at 750-800 then increases to 1500 on it's own.
Sometimes it goes back down, most times no. ???
The owner bought used and doesn't know much about the history??

Synchronize your throttle valves they should all be closed at idle and the TPS volts should be 0.48 to 0.52 . your oil pump arm should be up against the stop on the oil pump . Yamaha does not recommend you bleed the oil running it on a premixed tank as this model the oil pump feeds the VST and the cylinders at the same time .When you have got your throttle valves correct with the TPS volts then disconnect the oil pump link arm and move the oil pump arm by hand to its fully opened position while its idling this will bleed it.
