Tach and ammeter for a 50hp Johnson hydro electric..

I am close to getting my boat and engine united for some trials, you guys gave me a lot of help and advice with my motor.
I would like to fit a Tach and an ammeter, I would like to ask is there any particular ones to fit to the 50hp Johnson Hydro-Electric control.
Also, I know the gray wire goes to the tach, my other question is how to wire the ammeter?

Sounds like you have the tac figured out. I would install a volt meter instead of an ammeter, all you have to do is hook it up to any 12 volt source that is controlled by the key.

Thanks daviet, good advice, I wasn't sure between an ammeter or volt meter.
No particular ones to go for or avoid?
